The UFC heads to Canada this weekend with two titles on the line and a stacked card from top to bottom for UFC 315. Canadian fans are in for a treat with high-stakes matchups and some of the sport’s biggest names.
Main Event – Belal Muhammad (24-3-0, 1 NC) vs. Jack Della Maddalena (17-2-0)
#5-ranked Jack Della Maddalena pulled out of his scheduled bout with former champ Leon Edwards to take on the current welterweight champion, Belal Muhammad. Now, the two clash in Canada in what promises to be an explosive headliner.
JDM is a pressure boxer known for his sharp combination work, while Belal is a relentless pressure wrestler. This fight pits two high-paced styles against each other—neither man is likely to take a step back. The question remains: whose game plan will prevail?
Co-Main Event – Valentina Shevchenko (24-4-1) vs. Manon Fiorot (12-1-0)
Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko returns to defend her belt after recently regaining it. Standing in her way is #2-ranked Manon Fiorot, a skilled and technical striker with eyes on the title.
While Shevchenko is proficient in all areas of MMA, Fiorot may need to turn this into a gritty brawl to succeed. With Valentina possibly nearing the twilight of her career, will her experience and versatility be enough to stop the surging contender?
Main Card – Jose Aldo (32-9-0) vs. Aiemann Zahabi (12-2-0)
#11-ranked bantamweight legend Jose Aldo makes his highly anticipated return to the Octagon against #15-ranked Canadian standout Aiemann Zahabi. Aldo remains one of the most exciting fighters in the sport, and his presence alone makes this a must-watch.
With Zahabi fighting on home soil, expect the crowd to be electric. But will their support be enough to push him past the former champ?
Main Card – Alexa Grasso (16-4-1) vs. Natália Silva (18-5-1)
Former flyweight champion Alexa Grasso, currently ranked #1, is looking to bounce back after her recent loss to Shevchenko. Her opponent, Natália Silva, remains undefeated in the UFC and has her eyes set on a title shot.
This is a classic striker’s matchup—Grasso’s elite boxing vs. Silva’s rising star power. A win for Silva could catapult her straight into title contention.
Main Card – Benoît Saint-Denis (13-3-0) vs. Kyle Prepolec (18-8-0)
Originally slated to face Joel Álvarez, #13-ranked lightweight Benoît Saint-Denis now takes on Canadian veteran Kyle Prepolec, who steps in on short notice due to injury.
BSD is known for his aggressive, fast-starting style—don’t blink in the first round. Prepolec, fighting in front of a home crowd, will be looking to make a major statement with this opportunity.
